How to Deliver Bayou Baptist Preaching

To Microsoft Internet Explorer 7

 

OBJECTIVE:

This document will assist you in setting up Bayou Drive Baptist Church sermon audio to be automatically delivered to Internet Explorer 7 for your listening enjoyment. The setup will prevent you from having to visit BayouBaptist.com to hear the latest messages.

 

Setup should take approximately 5 minutes

 
To complete this setup, you must have:
  • Internet Explorer 7 installed on your computer. You can get the browser from Microsoft.

  • An active internet connection.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1.    Open Internet Explorer 7. From the TOOLS menu select TOOLBARS. If FEEDS is not checked, click FEEDS to display an RSS feeds pane on the left side of your browser window.

 

2.    Navigate to http://www.BayouBaptist.com. Notice on the Bayou Drive website in the lower right hand corner the orange RSS and XML icons(). Click the RSS or XML icon.

 

3.    Internet Explorer will display a list of audio messages. After reading the text in the yellow box, click SUBSCRIBE TO THIS FEED.

 

4.    You can re-define the name of this feed by typing another descriptive name in the “Name:” field. Click the SUBSCRIBE button in the pop up box.

 

5.    A page similar to the one below will display. Notice that the Bayou Drive Baptist Church Pulpit Preaching feed has been added to the Feeds panel on the left. Any time you want to listen to good Bible preaching, just click on the feed name to see the latest sermons for download. Enjoy!
