December 2008
Greetings to all of you, our faithful supporters and
fellow co-laborers in the Lord Jesus Christ. What a privilege and
honor it is to be serving Him who is all worthy of serving. What a
wonderful, faithful, and loving Heavenly Father He is to us.
I would like to begin this newsletter by saying that
after some earnest and serious praying before the Lord, I feel
confident that He is leading us to begin some ground work in our
next ministry that He has led us to. We have been on furlough,
sharing our new ministry and attempting to raise additional support.
Our Lord has enabled us to raise some new support, and I believe
that as we begin this new work, God is going to see that the
additional support we need will eventually come in. We are at about
seventy-five percent of our needed support. Some churches have
indicated that they will support us as soon as they are able to.
While we are on the field, we plan to continue to present our
ministry wherever the Lord will open the doors.
The church in Alamosa, Colorado has opened their
doors to allow us to begin a Spanish-speaking service in their
building, and this will help significantly by eliminating a heavy
financial burden. We want to thank them for this consideration. The
need there is greater than ever before. False cults and the
charismatic movement are having a heyday with the Spanish-speaking
people, and I believe it is urgent that we begin as soon as we can.
We are excited and anxious to see the great work that God is going
to build there through the preaching and teaching of the Gospel and
the Word of God.
We want to thank all of you who opened your doors and
your hearts to allow us to share our burden and challenge your
hearts. Thank you for every meal, for great accommodations, for
great fellowship, and for every love offering that enabled us to
travel about thirty thousand miles. We certainly met some wonderful
folks, and we were treated like royalty in ways beyond our
imagination. You will all be in our prayers, and we will cherish the
wonderful things that you all did for us. We know the Lord is going
to reward you and recompense you greatly.
We assure you that we are going to give our best
efforts, with the help of God, to represent our Lord Jesus Christ
and your church in the best possible way. We trust that He is going
to enable us to see a great harvest of souls and allow us to build a
work of God that will bring honor and glory to His magnificent name.
Again, we want to thank you so very much for
everything and for all of your prayers that made these last seven
months a wonderful and educating experience of a lifetime for a
Christian. Our prayers are with you all, and please keep us in your
prayers for this endeavor before us. We love you and appreciate you
all. Gracias, gracias, gracias! Have a safe and merry, merry
Christmas.
Yours in His name for His service,
