November 2008    
  27 Thanksgiving Enjoy a special time of Thanksgiving with your family! The Lord is Good! The church office will be closed Thursday - Friday.
  30 Missionary Guest Larry Morgan, missionary in Uganda, will present his work in the morning service.
  30 Budget Meeting with Men Pastor and Treasurer meet with the men of the church concerning the 2009 budget.
December 2008    
  4 Senior Saints Lunch Senior adults ages 65 and older go to lunch with the pastor. Dutch treat. Meet at the church at 11:30.
  7 Pastor's Meeting with Widows Pastor will be meeting with widows and "spiritual widows" of the church concerning the 2009 budget.
  10 Church Business Meeting The 2009 Budget will be presented to the church membership for approval.
  13 Ladies Christmas Fellowship Our ladies will meet for brunch and fellowship at the home of the Neely family.
  21 Third Sunday Lunch Our third Sunday fellowship meal will be the sharing of a Christmas feast! Come and join us for a special time of fellowship after the Sunday morning service.
  21 Choir Christmas Programs The children's and adult choirs have prepared Christmas music programs for our evening worship service.
  23 Christmas Service Our mid-week service will be held on Tuesday with a special Christmas worship service at 7:00.
  24-25 Christmas Holiday God's blessings on your family as you celebrate His birth! The church office will be closed.
January 2009    
  1 New Year's Day The Church office will be closed.
  9 Youth Rally Trinity Baptist Church in Texas City hosts the Houston area youth rally for youth and young adults.
  18 Third Sunday Lunch Our third Sunday fellowship meal will be the sharing of a Christmas feast! Come and join us for a special time of fellowship after the Sunday morning service.
  18 Al Reichman Missionary to Jews with Chosen People Ministries will be speaking in our evening service.
  23-25 Winter Fires Revival Bro. Tom Hayes will be our guest preacher for our Winter Fires Revival, Monday through Friday, 7:00 p.m. nightly.
February 2009

  13 Valentine Banquet A special evening to honor the Lord with the one you love, enjoy a dinner and fellowship as well.
  15 Third Sunday Lunch Our third Sunday fellowship meal will be the sharing of a Christmas feast! Come and join us for a special time of fellowship after the Sunday morning service.
  20 Youth Rally Parkwood Baptist Church hosts the Houston area youth rally for youth and young adults.
March 2009

  8 Daylight Savings Time Turn your clocks forward to be up early for Sunday School!
  15 Third Sunday Lunch Our third Sunday fellowship meal will be the sharing of a Christmas feast! Come and join us for a special time of fellowship after the Sunday morning service.
  28 Spring Cleaning Come and help clean the church buildings and properties inside and out. There is a task for any age or ability, and lunch is included!
April 2009

  12 Easter Join us for special worship services as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.

  19 Missionary Guest Missionary Nathan Haifley will be presenting his work in the evening service.
  24 Youth Rally Victory Baptist Church in Baytown hosts the Houston area youth rally for youth and young adults.
May 2009    
  3 Missionary Guest Bill Richborg, representative of Victory Baptist Press, will be speaking in the morning service.
  7 Senior Saints Lunch Senior adults ages 65 and older go to lunch with the pastor. Dutch treat. Meet at the church at 11:30.
  10 Mother's Day Show your mother you love her by bringing her with you to church today. We will honor all mothers who are with us in the morning service, and will recognize several special moms in attendance.
  13-17 Missions Revival Our members are challenged every year to get the gospel around the world. Experience the power of a church working together to fulfill the Great Commission! 
  19 Third Sunday Lunch Our third Sunday fellowship meal will be the sharing of a Christmas feast! Come and join us for a special time of fellowship after the Sunday morning service.
  31 Graduation Sunday We will honor our high school and college (4-year) graduates in the morning service.
June 2009    
  4 Senior Saints Lunch Senior adults ages 65 and older go to lunch with the pastor. Dutch treat. Meet at the church at 11:30.
  21 Father's Day Make it a special day for dad by joining him for worship. We will recognize all fathers in attendance, and have special awards for special dads.

July 2009    
  2 Senior Saints Lunch Senior adults ages 65 and older go to lunch with the pastor. Dutch treat. Meet at the church at 11:30.
  4 Let Freedom Ring Celebrate our freedom in America and our freedom in Christ by joining our celebration service and picnic, with sports activities and games to follow.
  6-10 Camp Meeting Enjoy a week in the country along with some great preaching and singing at Dyersdale Baptist Church's annual camp meeting.
  13-17 Vacation Bible School The date is tentative; stay tuned for more information.

  1 Senior Saints Lunch Senior adults ages 65 and older go to lunch with the pastor. Dutch treat. Meet at the church at 11:30.
  1-3 Prison Revival Men from our church volunteer to assist in the Rock of Ages Prison revival at the Darrington Unit. Volunteers must apply by August 15th.
  11-14 Fall Bible Conference Bayou Drive's annual Bible Conference provides an opportunity for worship and fellowship with our church family and many guests. Great preaching and singing in every service.
  18 Third Sunday Lunch Our third Sunday fellowship meal will be the sharing of a Christmas feast! Come and join us for a special time of fellowship after the Sunday morning service.
  31 Fall Festival BDBC hosts a special fall fellowship for kids of all ages; a safe and fun alternative to the world's activities on this day.
November 2009    
  1 Daylight Savings Time ends Turn your clocks back on Saturday night. Yea! You'll find the extra hour you lost in March!

  24 Thanksgiving Service Join us for our mid-week service one day early, as we praise and give thanks to the Lord.
  26 Thanksgiving Church office is closed Nov. 26-27 for Thanksgiving.

December 2009

  9 Church Budget Vote Church members vote on 2010 budget.
