Shawn graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Baylor University. While there he met his lovely wife, Tina. Working in the field of technology, the Lord impressed upon him a burden to preach the gospel, and in 1996 Shawn responded in obedience with a particular interest in expository preaching.

Michael does not remember a time not being in church, and recalls the struggles of wrestling with God's call for his life. It wasn't until after high school that Michael surrendered his life to preaching of the gospel.

Children's Ministry Directors

Nathan started working with Children in Children's Church when he was 15 and has been working in childrens programs since then. Nathan and Jeanette were tasked with Children's program development at Bayou Drive in 2014.

Sal Garcia

Staff Missionary to Spanish America

The Lord led Sal and his wife to Bayou Drive in 1996 to start a Spanish-speaking church and later to be missionaries sent out from the church. They have had a part in starting churches in Colorado, California, New Mexico, and Texas.

Associate Minister of Member Care

Wayne joined our staff in 2014. Wayne and Faye have demonstrated their heart for people and hospitality since they have been in fellowship with our church. They work tirelessly to care for members in need through hospital and home visitation, benevolence, and overall encouragement. Wayne also leads our staff and church in developing a culture of warmth and hospitality.

Lohen Gonzalez

Staff Missionary - Chile

In 1983 Lohen and Becky returned to Chile to visit family. The Lord used his preaching to soften his heart to Chilean missions. And in 1984 he launched, with his family, into full-time Chilean ministry, returning to his national homeland with a montly support of $500. Lohen and his wife continue to serve on the field in Chile and contribute regularly to the strategic leadership and direction of Bayou Drive.
